Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers about searching, paying, orders, and refunds.
Getting started
What is MANA?
MANA (MTG Aggregator Network App) lets you search the stock of several independent Magic: The Gathering shops in the Philippines at once, put cards, sealed products, and accessories from different shops in a single cart, and pay once.
MANA is not a shop itself. The shops hold the stock and pack and ship your order.
Is MANA finished?
Not yet. MANA is in beta, which means we are still testing and improving it, so you may run into bugs, errors, or things that do not work the way you would expect. Prices, stock, totals, and emails can occasionally be wrong or out of date.
Before you pay, please check your cart, the shipping fees, your delivery address, and the total. If something looks wrong or does not work, tell us through the Contact page and we will look into it. If a shop cannot supply something you paid for, you are refunded (see "When do I get a refund?").
Do I need an account?
You can search and fill your cart without one. To check out you need an account with a verified email address, so we can send you your order updates. Creating one takes a minute: Use Sign Up at the top of any page.
Why do I have to verify my email?
It proves the address is yours, so receipts, order updates, and any refund details reach the right person. After signing up we email you a link that works for 60 minutes. If it is not in your inbox, check your spam folder, or press "Resend email" in the banner under the top bar.
I forgot my password.
On the Log In page choose "Forgot password?" and enter your email. If there is an account for it, we email a link to choose a new one (it works for 60 minutes and only once). For your safety, the page says the same thing whether or not an account exists.
Searching and prices
How current are the prices and stock I see?
They come straight from the shops when you search, not from a copy kept by MANA. We check them again when you open your cart, when you reach checkout, and once more as your order is placed.
If a price went up since you added the card, checkout pauses once to show you the new price so nothing is charged that you have not seen. If it went down, you pay the lower price.
What do Non-foil, Foil, Foil Etched, and Surge Foil mean?
They are the finish of the card. Non-foil is the regular printing. Foil has a shiny, metallic finish. Foil Etched has a textured, metallic foil treatment. Surge Foil has a rippling foil pattern used on certain cards. The shop sets the finish on its listing, and the badge on each result shows it.
How do I search?
For cards, start typing an exact card name and pick it from the suggestions. For sealed products and accessories, type part of the name. Results are grouped by shop, each with its price, stock, condition, and finish.
The card I want is not in stock anywhere.
If you are logged in with a verified email, press "Let shops know you're looking for this card" on the no-results page. The shops are told that shoppers want it (without your details), and we email you once when a shop lists it.
If you would rather not get these emails, untick "Send me sales and promotional emails" in My Account, or use the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any of them. Order and account emails will still be sent.
A shop is missing from my results.
If a shop could not be reached, the page tells you which one and that its results may be missing. Search again in a moment.
Ordering and paying
How does ordering from several shops work?
Add whatever you like to one cart and check out once. MANA splits the order by shop: Each shop packs and ships its own part, and you choose a shipping option for each shop at checkout. Because the shops ship separately, shipping is charged per shop and your parcels can arrive on different days.
How do I pay?
On a secure payment page by Xendit, which opens after you place your order. It shows the payment options available to you, and all prices are in Philippine pesos. MANA never sees your card or wallet details.
Why does a shipping option say "No fee at checkout"?
Some shops do not put a price on their shipping options. They need to look at what you bought first (its weight, its size, and where it is going) before they can tell you the shipping fee, so they ask you to pay that fee to them directly. It is the shop's own decision, not MANA's.
What you pay on MANA covers your items. The shop then contacts you, using the email address and mobile number from your order, with the shipping amount and how to pay it. Read the note under the shipping option, because shops often explain it there. If you are not sure which option to pick, use "Message shop" under the shipping choices at checkout before you pay.
MANA does not collect or see that shipping fee, so if something goes wrong with it, sort it out with the shop. Refunds from MANA cover only what you paid through MANA.
How long do I have to pay?
About an hour. While you pay, the shops hold your items for you. We email you a link to the payment page in case you close it.
What happens if I do not pay in time?
The order expires, the shops put the items back on sale, and the items go back into your cart so you can check out again. We email you when this happens.
An item sold out while I was checking out.
MANA only buys what is still available. A line that sold out, was delisted, or whose shop could not be reached is left out of the order and stays in your cart, and everything else goes through. We tell you which lines were left out. If nothing could be bought, nothing is charged.
After you order
How do I follow my order?
Open My Orders in your User Panel (the menu with your name, top right). Each shop's part shows its own status: "Shop is preparing it," "Packed," "Completed," or "Canceled by shop." We email you when your payment is received, when a shop has packed its part, and if a shop cancels.
Will I get a text message when my order is ready?
Yes. When a shop marks its part of your order as packed, it sends you a text message at the contact number you gave at checkout, and an email, saying the order is ready. That is why checkout asks for a Philippine mobile number that can receive texts (for example 0917 123 4567). If no text arrives, check the number in My Account, or use the "Contact shop" button next to that shop in My Orders.
Do I get a tracking number?
Not through MANA. We show the status the shop gives its order. For delivery details, use the "Contact shop" button next to that shop in My Orders: It has the shop's own contact details and your order number ready to copy.
Can I change or cancel an order after paying?
Once you have paid, the shop handles it. Use "Contact shop" in My Orders to ask them. If they cancel their part, or cannot supply something, you get a refund (see below).
Refunds and problems
When do I get a refund?
If you paid and a shop cannot supply some or all of its part (an item is unavailable, or it reduces a quantity, or cancels), you are refunded what you paid for those items, and the shipping fee as well when nothing of that shop's part will be sent. The amount is always the price you actually paid, even if the shop has since changed its price.
How are refunds sent?
By MANA, to a GCash, Maya, or bank account. The shop gives us the account details; before anything is sent, we email you where the money would go (with the number partly hidden) and ask you to confirm that the account is yours. We do not send a refund until you do. If it is not your account, press "No, this is not my account" and nothing is sent.
I got a refund email and I was not expecting it.
Open My Orders to see which shop changed your order and why. If something looks wrong, or the account in the email is not yours, press "No, this is not my account" in that email or write to us through the Contact page.
My items arrived damaged or are not what I ordered.
Please contact the shop first, using "Contact shop" in My Orders, since they packed and shipped it. If you cannot get an answer, write to us through the Contact page with your order number and we will look into it.
Emails
I am not getting MANA's emails.
Check your spam or promotions folder and mark MANA as not spam. Make sure the address on your account is spelled correctly. If the verification email is the one missing, use "Resend email" in the banner under the top bar.
How do I stop promotional emails?
Use the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any promotional email, or untick "Send me sales and promotional emails" in My Account. You will still receive emails about your orders and account.
For shops
Who runs the shops on MANA?
Independent local stores. Each runs its own inventory and ships its own orders. See Participating Shops for who they are.
How can my shop join?
Write to us through the Contact page and choose "I run a shop and want to join MANA."
